Visited this brilliant branch of superfish on Wednesday night. Served by Debbie & Lucy - attentive and efficient, couldn't ask for better service Food was amazing, hot, fresh and full of flavour. All served with bread and butter, shell on prawns, gherkins, onions and sauces. Couldn't fault our meal out. Will deffinately be back. Thank you team Ewell!
So good we came back and this time I took pictures. Great Fish and Chips, I had the Extra Large Cod, it was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious a nice clean crisp batter. My partner had the large cod which looked just as nice. We had pickles, mushy peas and tartare sauce on the side. Lovely staff and a nice Atmosphere made for a great meal. Won't hesitate to return. Its my new favourite fish and chip shop.
My first experience of this Superfish was about 1 hour ago. We have used various fish and chip shops over the past few years but have never found one that is consistent in providing exactly what we were looking for. Well, after tonight's experience I feel we may have done so now. Good, fair pricing, good food, accurate collection estimate (which we find is very rare nowadays) and a very polite service with happy smiling faces. If they can consistently perform as they have tonight, we may have found the best fish and chip establishment for miles around. Well done everyone who made this possible! Update: We have visited three times since first coming here a couple of months ago and all was great until last Friday. We picked up an elderly relative who loves fish and chips and treated her to a meal here with us. All was fine as usual except the haddock all 4 of us had. The batter was chewy and the fish not as flakey or large as it has been. 3 of us had to leave food on our plate which is unheard of for us. I feel they just overcooked the fish this time but I am just guessing? Sad because we had been praising this restaurant for weeks, so this visit was very disappointing. We should try it again as it's not the general theme for this place but it won't be for a while as we will be kicking ourselves if the same thing happened again so soon and it ruined another Friday night out. Sorry!
Excellent value and quality. Great to be able to sit in, had wine too! Free shell on prawns and bread butter to start. Food looked so fresh and tasty forgot to take pictures before tucking in!!
